This pink Lemonade is so delicious and is always a crowd pleaser. Apparently a tub of dirty water and red cinnamon candies may have caused the festive colour, though you won’t find any of that around here! Fresh and fruity and delicious is what we’re going for. Homemade Lemonade will last up to 5 to 7 days. Once we make the lemonade, we pour into a glass pitcher and cover it.

Sure beets are sometimes used in red velvet cake but did you know it made such a pretty shade of pink??? Maybe I’m late for the party but I’m glad to finally be here! It’s almost an electric pink, which is the PERFECT shade for a boozy, Girls-Night-In drink IMO.

What is the pink in pink lemonade?

You can use more or less grenadine depending on how pink you want your lemonade. Use beet juice that is not from concentrate. I get my pure beet juice from Harris Teeter or Publix. If all else fails just grab a can of pure, unsalted beets. Of course, you could always buy fresh beet and juice them.

In a blender, blend fresh watermelon pieces and lemon juice together. Use a fine mesh strainer to remove the pulp.
